Zignago
Zignago is a municipality of scattered hamlets at over 600 metres in the upper Vara valley, on the border with Tuscan Lunigiana; the town hall is at Pieve. It is a land of woods and ridges, inhabited since prehistoric times, as the local historical and archaeological exhibition shows.
There is a trattoria with local cooking, handy for anyone walking the valley’s trails.
