Bergeggi is a village on the headland between Spotorno and Savona, and off its coast lies the island of Bergeggi, which together with the surrounding seabed forms a marine protected area. There is plenty to see underwater, and the large sea cave can be visited by boat.

On the hill stand towers and fortifications such as the Torre d’Ere and the San Giacomo fort; a cross commemorates the soldiers of the troopship Transylvania, sunk offshore in 1917. The village has a few seafood restaurants.
