Vendone is a small municipality of hamlets on the hills above Albenga, at almost 400 metres, among olive groves and woods. The German sculptor Rainer Kriester lived and worked here, and an open-air park gathers his stone sculptures.
There is a trattoria and a room to rent. The patron saint is Saint Antoninus, celebrated on 2 September.
