Diano Castello

Diano Castello is the historic village of the Gulf of Diano: for a long time it was the centre of the Diano community, and it keeps a compact medieval core on its hill, at 135 metres, five kilometres from Imperia.

The hills around are covered with olive groves and vineyards that produce Vermentino white wine. The Gubbarina pass offers a fine view over the gulf; the village also has the Suor Leonarda Ranixe museum.
