Pieve di Teco is the main town of the Arroscia valley and has been its market for centuries: the main street runs under long arcades, along the road that leads to Piedmont. Since December 2025 it has been one of the Borghi più belli d’Italia.
Worth seeing are the medieval bridge, the diocesan museum and the remains of the castle of Teco, which overlooks the whole town. It is a good base for the upper valley, with a couple of hotels and a few holiday homes.
