San Lorenzo al Mare is one of the smallest municipalities in Liguria, just over one square kilometre at the mouth of the stream of the same name. This is where the Riviera dei Fiori cycle path ends, or begins, running all the way to Ospedaletti along the old railway line.
The village has beaches, a marina and a small centre with restaurants and bars; to stay there is a hotel, a campsite and a few holiday homes.
