Vasia stands at 385 metres on the hills between the Prino and Impero valleys, about ten kilometres from Imperia, among olive groves and small stone hamlets. The castle can be seen in the hamlet of Pietralata.
There is an agriturismo and a holiday home for the night. The patron saint is Saint Anthony the Abbot, celebrated on 17 January.
