Bargagli sits at 340 metres in the upper Bisagno valley, about fifteen kilometres from central Genoa, on the road that climbs towards the Trebbia valley. It is a village of hamlets scattered among woods and meadows, cool in summer and close to the city.
There are pizzerias and trattorias and a couple of rooms to rent. The main feast is the Assumption, on 15 August.
