Bogliasco is the first village of the Golfo Paradiso after Nervi: a small beach at the mouth of the stream, fishing boats pulled up on the shore, an old stone bridge and colourful houses facing the sea.
It is a pleasant spot for a walk and a lunch with a sea view just outside Genoa; to stay there is a hotel, a holiday home and a campsite. The main feast is that of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, in mid-July.
