Borzonasca is the main village of the Sturla valley, in the hinterland of Chiavari, and one of the gateways to the Aveto park. In the hamlet of Borzone stands a Romanesque abbey among the chestnut trees, and nearby, on a rock face, you can see the so-called megalithic face, a large face carved in stone whose origin is still debated.
Another curiosity is a chestnut tree said to be a thousand years old. The land climbs towards the Aveto mountains, with huts, small lakes and trails.
